As 2018 is here some electronics giants are ready to deploy their new gadgets and devices in the market but haven’t revealed much about the new gadgets but on the other hand, Samsung made it public about its new product of under Notebook series.
Samsung announced to launch Notebook 9 Pen and upgraded versions of Notebook 9 which the company is calling as Notebook 9(2018) under Notebook series.
Notebook 9 Pen comes with a 13inch (930QAA) Full HD RealViewTouch display and a screen resolution of 1920×1080 pixels. At the heart of this 2in1 notebook is 8th generation Intel Core i7 quad-core processor, up to 16gb DDR4 Ram and 512GB NVMe PCIe SSD, and Intel HD graphics running on windows 10.
Connectivity options include an HDMI port, a single Type C USB port and a regular USB port and also microSD storage.
Notebook 9 Pen 2 in 1 comes with a built-in battery-free S pen, the company claims that the S Pen recognizes 4096 different level pressure and also tilt detection function for more natural and free writing experience with a fine tip of 0.7 mm. It also includes a backlit keyboard, 7.3mm thin, 3600 rotatable hinges, and high precision touch display. The display also provides accurate color reproduction with outdoor mode and a 1780 viewing angle.
The outer chassis is made up of all-metal magnesium aluminum keeping the notebook under a kilo (995g).
As far as the privacy is concern Notebook 9 Pen comes with Facial login and Biometric (Fingerprint Sensor) facility, facial recognition system uses three different sensors and a Windows Hello Camera 720p front webcam for logging in into the notebook. This model includes a 45 DC-in adapter powered by a 39Wh battery providing a battery backup of 6-8 hours.
Samsung announced that Notebook 9 Pen and Notebook 9 (2018) will be available in selected countries, starting on December ‘17 with South Korea then the US in the first quarter of 2018. Both these variants will be displayed at CES 2018 Las Vegas, Nevada. Pricing of all the notebook variants is supposed to be announced closer to release.
