G-Shock Presents ‘Indian Extreme Nationals 2.0’ India’s Extreme Sports.

Once’s again Extreme sports are back in India by G-Shock from Casio. Known for its high-tech gadgetry and hyper-durable range of watches. They associated with the ‘Indian Extreme Nationals 2.0’ for the second year in a row.

The Indian Extreme Nationals organised by Extreme Sports Association of India, (XSAI) is a nationwide competition for extreme sports like skateboarding, BMX, surfing etc. To drive and encourage this passion of Indian youth.

“It gives us immense pleasure to associate Indian Extreme Nationals with Casio’s G – Shock, fuelling our core objective is to get all the athlete communities of these sports together and grow the culture among Indian youth. We believe that the infrastructure will grow organically with extreme culture growth. In addition, we want to offer maximum international exposure to our Skateboarding and BMX athletes.”

Nowadays Extreme Sports in India is being encouraged and Indian youth are showing their passion in this adventurous & high-energy sports genre in India.

G-Shock offers a platform for sports activities that are trending worldwide.

There are over 140 enthusiasts from across the country. G-Shock wants Indian youth who is sportier, fitness focussed and eager to take extreme sports of the country to an international level.

Mr Kulbhushan Seth – VP, Casio India said

“The passion for extreme sports like skateboarding, BMX, surfing etc are catching pace amongst the country’s youth. Also the response we received in the first year at India Extreme Nationals was over-whelming and furthermore encouraged us to continue this relationship for the second season.

Furthermore the Indian youth is overflow with enthusiasm to take up sports activities that are unconventional because there’s a lack of infrastructure that curtails them. Through this event, we hope to give them a platform to come out and showcase their talent at an international level.”

Extreme Sports Association of India, (XSAI) is the official Indian Association to train, facilitate and grow the sports of Skateboarding & BMX cycling in India, conduct National championships and represent India in International Extreme Sports challenges. XSAI is affiliated with the AXF (Asian Extreme Sports Federation) which represents (ISF) International Skateboarding Federation and (IBMXFF) International BMX Freestyle Federation in Asia. AXF (Asian Extreme Sports Federation) is affiliated and recognised by The Olympic Council of Asia.

Indian Extreme Nationals 2016 (IEN) was the first official Open Nationals organised by the XSAI.
