GDG Pune DevFest 2018 : All You Need To Know

What’s up Pune! Ganesh season has just finished and its the time when every Punekar makes peace with routine. Thus, the people from manufacturing industry are heading to Wagholi and IT crowd to Hinjewadi and Magarpatta. Also the students are heading to their colleges. Wait! No! You say that’s not happening?? Then where are the students going?  Oh right! Its time for GDG Pune DevFest 2018! How silly am I?

What is GDG DevFest anyway?

Google Developers Group[GDG] is a group of developers and tech enthusiasts who come together to exchange, enhance and expand their ideas in their own tribe. As a result the whole scenario turns into a festivity. DevFest is the name given to this festival of tech enthusiasts. They are community-run developer events happening around the globe focused on community building and learning mainly about Google’s technologies. In 2017, Pune experienced a successful DevFest for an audience of 450 developers from multiple backgrounds at the Persistent Systems.

DevFests are a wide scale platform opportunities for CEOs, Founders, industry experts to share their knowledge and expertise with a variety of developers.

This year the festival is back with a bigger bang! GDG Pune, Women Techmakers, Google Cloud Developer Community has tied up together as organizers and TechieScoops is the Official Media Partner.

    Registration starts : 8:00 AM onwards.
    Event starts at 10 AM Sharp.
    End time : 5 PM
    Venue : Swami Vivekananda Auditorium, MIT College, Kothrud Pune.

    It is mandatory for interested participants to fill the form. In conclusion the shortlisted candidates will be notified by e-mail. Last year 1200 people registered out of which 450 were sent acceptance. So cross your fingers!!
