HTC U11+ Launched in India: Louder than Before


HTC U11+ has been launched in India after the Taiwanese company unveiled the smartphone back in 2017 promising that the U11+ will soon be available in selected markets.

The sale will go live exclusively on Flipkart on February 7th, 2018 i.e. Wednesday.


Let’s have a look at the specifications.

The Htc U11+ runs on Android 8.0 Oreo in addition to the HTC Sense UI on the top. The screen has been provided with the latest Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. At the heart of the device is an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 SoC clocked at 2.45GHz which comes with both 4GB & 6GB of RAM.

As far as the display is concerned the HTC U11+ sports a 6-inch Quad HD+ Super LCD display with an aspect ratio of 18:9 and a resolution of 1440×2880 pixels.

Now for the camera lovers, the U11+ packs a 12-megapixel UltraPixel(HTC’s camera USP) with an aperture size at f/1.7 and a dual-led flash. For the selfie lovers the HTC U11+ sports an 8-megapixel with an aperture size of f/2.0. The smartphone also supports video streaming as well as recording at 4K picture quality.

If we talk about the storage, the U11+ comes with 64GB & 128GB internal storage. For the battery backup, the HTC U11+ holds a 3930mAh battery with a QuickCharge 3.0 support.


The U11+ connectivity options enables a USB Type-C 3.1, Bluetooth 5.0, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, NFC, DLNA and Miracast. The fingerprint sensor is placed beneath the rear camera.

In addition, the  U11+ comes with a translucent glass back and is IP68 certified for dust and water resistant.

When it comes to the AI access =, the HTC U11+ comes with Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa which can be integrated with edge sense. It allows users to access various functions over voice such as launching the camera, accessing apps, accessing voice assistant by using squeeze gestures on the sides.

For the music lover, the company has put HTC’s BoomSound speakers and Usonic earbuds which is said to be the loudest speaker ever put on a smartphone produced by the company and is expected to be 40percent louder than U11.

The pricing for the HTC U11+ in India has been set as Rs. 56,990, and can be exclusively booked via Flipkart from February 7th, 2018.
