Ever since OnePlus announced the launch of it’s new flagship phone – the OnePlus 6, rumors have been spreading about its specifications. Tech enthusiasts with way too much time on their hands, ironically can’t wait for OnePlus to officially release images. This CAD designer has created a 3D render of the phone, based on rumors and leaks; and if he is right, then it looks like OnePlus is set to release a powerful beast in a stylish body.
3D Mock Up of The OnePlus 6
Sticking with the current trend of edge-to-edge displays, the OnePlus 6 features a massive 6.2″ AMOLED screen with a small notch at the top and at the bottom. It’s expected to have a 20 MP rear camera, with a 16 MP front camera. The whole OnePlus 6 body, apparently, is made of aluminium with glass panels on both, the front and back – much like Apple’s iPhone X. Rumor has it that the latest addition to the OnePlus family will also support wireless charging.Aside from the eye-candy, OnePlus has packed a powerful beast under the hood. With a 3300 mAh battery, Snapdragon 845 SoC, 6/8 GB RAM with 128/256 GB of UFS storage, the OnePlus6, in true OnePlus fashion, does not disappoint.
Now, OnePlus is trying hard to showcase the camera quality of its new flagship phone. They have put up a blind camera test on their website. Here, they display four pictures clicked by four different smartphones including their OnePlus 6, Apple’s iPhone X, Samsung’s Galaxy S9 and Google’s Pixel 2. The iPhone X, S9 and Pixel 2 are all very well known for their amazing camera quality – so OnePlus is really playing in the big leagues now. In my personal opinion, the photos clicked by the OnePlus definitely match up to the pictures taken on the other phones and, in some cases, even outdo them. No doubt, OnePlus have full faith in their phone – as displayed by this blind test. Many people taking part in these blind tests agree that OnePlus’s camera quality is on par with the other high-end phones. If you want to check out the blind test yourself, you stand a chance to win a brand new OnePlus 6 by going here, taking the test and referring your friends.
OnePlus is all ready to launch their latest device in India on May 16th. The purchase of the same can be done on the 20th and 21st of May from Amazon, given that a special voucher worth Rs. 1000 against the OnePlus 6 has been purchased beforehand.
The buzz around the OnePlus 6 continues, with the 3D design of the body and the all new amazing camera just adding to the hype.
