Hello readers, today we are going to see about the newly launched Samsung Galaxy A8+ which sounds like a close relative of Note 8 and S8.
Samsung has recently launched its new device Galaxy A8+ in an event at National Capital. This mid-range phone will be available exclusively on Amazon India from January 20.
The Galaxy A8+ is built on an all-glass metal body featuring a bezel-less 6-inch infinity FHD + Super AMOLED display (1080 x 2220) with 18.5:9 aspect ratio. It is powered by the Samsung Exynos 7885 octa-core Soc, with two cores running at 2.2GHz and six cores running at 1.6GHz supported with 6GB of RAM. Galaxy A8+ runs on Android 7.1.1(Nougat) and expected to be upgraded to 8.0(Oreo) soon.
Galaxy A8+ has a dual-sim(nano) slot one at the left and another one at the top. At the storage part of the Galaxy A8+ is a 64GB internal storage which can be extended up to 256GB with the use of an external micro SD card. It is also IP68 (dust & waterproof) certified.
As far as the camera is concerned, Samsung has used its first dual selfie camera on this phone. The dual front camera includes a 16-megapixel fixed focus with an aperture of f/1.9 and an 8-megapixel with an aperture size of f/1.9. The dual front camera sensors allow the user to provide blurred background in images with a Bokeh effect. If we talk about the rear camera, it comes with a 16-megapixel with an aperture size of f/1.7.
The connectivity features of this phone sports a 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS/A-GPS, NFC, and a type-C USB port. Onboard sensors are equipped with an accelerometer, ambient light sensor, digital compass, gyroscope and proximity sensor. To keep it running for long it has a 3500mAH Li-ion battery.
Samsung has also equipped this phone with its personal AI Bixby which will help the users to use this device more easily. As far as security is concerned Galaxy A8+ comes with the feature of face unlocking and a fingerprint sensor. For payment process, Samsung Pay is onboard the device.
